Iridium — Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Iridium (the "Service"), operated by Progress Labs LLC, a California limited liability company doing business as Iridium ("Iridium," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Iridium is a hosted LinkedIn automation tool, available as a web application and as a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server usable from compatible clients such as Claude. The Service connects to your LinkedIn account through a third-party provider (Unipile) and helps you draft and schedule outreach, comments, and related activity, subject to your review and approval.
The Service includes a messaging feature. When your LinkedIn account is connected, Iridium synchronises your LinkedIn conversations so it can display your inbox, summarise threads, identify which conversations appear to need a reply, and draft replies for you. Drafted replies are sent only when you approve them or at a time you schedule. Synchronisation includes messages sent to you by other people; you are responsible for ensuring your use of this feature complies with LinkedIn's terms and with any confidentiality obligations you owe to the people you correspond with.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. You may only operate a LinkedIn account that you own and are authorized to use. You may not upload, connect, or operate credentials belonging to another person.
3. Acceptance of Terms
By clicking to create an account, or by calling the Service's acceptance endpoint with agreement, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. Your continued use of the Service after any update to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
4. Nature of the Service; No Guarantee of Outcomes
The Service assists you in performing activity on LinkedIn. You direct and control what the Service does on your behalf. The Service provides configurable pacing controls, including a daily connection cap and human-in-the-loop draft review. These controls exist to help you manage volume; they are not a guarantee of safety, deliverability, or any particular result. Where you configure higher limits or override defaults, the associated risk is yours.
Iridium is not responsible for, and disclaims all liability for, any action taken through the platform — including messages, comments, connection requests, or other activity that you draft, approve, schedule, or transmit. You are solely responsible for the content and consequences of activity conducted through your account.
5. Accounts and Access
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You are responsible for reviewing every draft before approval; AI-generated drafts may contain inaccuracies, fabrications, or content unsuitable for your context, and Iridium bears no liability for content you approve.
Certain user-initiated actions (such as direct replies and manually composed messages) may be transmitted immediately upon your instruction rather than on a delayed schedule.
Inactive accounts. If you do not use the Service for thirty (30) days, we will disconnect your LinkedIn account from Unipile, so that we are not maintaining — and paying to maintain — a connection you are not using. We will email you in advance. This does not delete your Iridium account, your settings, or your data; you can reconnect your LinkedIn account at any time from Settings.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Send identical or substantially similar templated messages at volume, or use sequences to evade personalization;
- Circumvent, disable, or attempt to raise rate limits, caps, or pacing controls;
- Engage in harassment, spam, or unsolicited commercial bulk messaging, or messaging in violation of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, PECR, or applicable anti-spam law;
- Scrape, harvest, resell, or export profile data obtained through the Service;
- Conduct recruiting fraud, phishing, impersonation, MLM, or crypto/investment solicitation;
- Upload credentials belonging to another person, or operate an account you do not own;
- Reverse engineer the Service, or use it to build a competing product;
- Engage in any use that violates LinkedIn's User Agreement or any applicable law.
Violation of this section voids all protections, credits, and refunds otherwise available under these Terms and constitutes a material breach.
7. Assumption of Risk — LinkedIn Automation
You understand and agree that automating activity on LinkedIn may result in restriction, suspension, or permanent ban of your LinkedIn account by LinkedIn or Microsoft, and that this risk exists regardless of the pacing controls the Service provides. You knowingly and voluntarily assume this risk. Iridium is not responsible for any restriction, suspension, or loss of access to your LinkedIn account, or for any consequences arising from it.
8. Third-Party Dependencies
The Service depends on third parties, including Unipile and LinkedIn for connectivity, and Anthropic and Cerebras for AI generation and classification, whose access, APIs, or terms may change, degrade, or be withdrawn at any time and without notice. Any resulting interruption, degradation, or discontinuation of the Service is not a breach of these Terms by us, and we are not liable for it. The current list of sub-processors and what each one does is maintained in our Privacy Policy.
9. No Affiliation
Iridium is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn Corporation or Microsoft Corporation. "LinkedIn" and "Microsoft" are trademarks of their respective owners, used here only for identification.
10. Fees
The Solo plan is $20 per month, following a 7-day free trial that does not require a credit card. Payment is processed by Stripe. Unless you cancel, the subscription renews automatically each month at the then-current price, charged to your payment method on the same day each month, until you cancel.
You may cancel at any time from the billing portal in your account settings. Cancellation stops future charges and access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for. Amounts already paid are not refunded and no credit is given for partial periods, except as required by law. We will give notice before any change to the recurring price. During any early-access or pre-launch period, access may be provided free of charge and may be modified or revoked at any time.
11. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your user content), is owned by us and protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You retain ownership of the content you create through the Service.
12. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your access to the Service — including temporarily deactivating your Iridium account while we investigate — for any actual or suspected violation of these Terms, without notice and without liability. Suspension of your Iridium account does not affect your underlying LinkedIn account, which remains under your control. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 4, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, and 16) will survive.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that use of the Service will not result in action against your LinkedIn or other accounts.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or account access (including LinkedIn account restriction or ban), arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.
Our total aggregate liability for any and all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the one (1) month immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
15. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Iridium, its owners, operators, and affiliates from and against any claim, demand, suit, proceeding, damage, loss, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) content you approve or transmit; (c) your violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use section; (d) your violation of LinkedIn's terms or any third-party right or any law; or (e) any claim brought against Iridium by LinkedIn Corporation or Microsoft Corporation arising from your account activity.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You and we agree to resolve disputes in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms waives any non-waivable statutory right you may have under California law.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
